FINAL REMINDER! Locking/Charging Cards this week!

Hello Mashies and Cork lovers!
The time is finally drawing near! By this Friday, October 8th we will lock in surveys. By this Sunday, October 10th, we will charge cards for shipping and add-ons. Most everyone has filled out their surveys and for that we appreciate the heck out of you all!

A few nuggets of knowledge and the next steps:
- Locking surveys means you cannot edit your surveys (as in you can't choose to add more stickers/prints change your address/card info etc).
- Charging cards is just as it sounds, you pay for shipping and whatever add-ons you might have chosen.
- Which ever card you used for your BACKERKIT SURVEY is the card we will be charging for shipping/add-ons (this means that it's not necessarily the card you might have used to back the Kickstarter).
- Once all of this is processed, we just play the waiting game! (Well, you all do. *WE* have a lot of shipping materials and labor to organize >.<)
- Corks are scheduled to arrive to us in Atlanta, GA mid November and then we will IMMEDIATELY start packaging the over 1,000 Corks to send across the globe! :O
Thanks for being along for the long haul with us! It's been quite the adventure! And rest assured we will be posting photos of the packaging process so you feel apart of the whole process. It wouldn't have happened without you all! So thank you!!! ^_^

Locked Orders and Card Charging Dates Updated!

Hey friendos! Happy officially FALL (for my side of the globe that is)!
I wanted to do a quick update on when the cards will be charged for shipping and when the final date to be able to edit your shipping information and add ons. I am still waiting for a small percentage of people to respond to their emails, and since we still have time on our hands, I'm going to hold the window open for a bit longer. As of now, orders will be locked on October 6th, 2021 and cards will be charged October 12th, 2021. You will be given a week's heads up when cards are to be charged. No need for surprise charges :)
A potential issue I'm seeing is that some backers signed up through the Kickstarter with their Apple ID emails, so I have a sneaking suspicion that some aren't getting their surveys because this isn't their normal emails and it's being sent to some random email. If this might be you, PLEASE REACH OUT TO ME.

September Update! IMPORTANT INFO

Hello fellow Cork lovers! I just wanted to give you a quick update on what's been happening on our end! (This update will include information about completing surveys, locking in addresses, charging cards, and shipping expectations).
Completing Surveys: A few months ago we sent out surveys from Backerkit asking for your shipping information and card info for shipping costs. (Backerkit is our handy-dandy platform that helps us keep everyone organized and handles charging cards). Almost 90% of backers have already filled out their surveys yay! But we still have some stragglers that need to fill this information out. IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED THIS SURVEY, PLEASE REACH OUT TO US AND WE WILL GET YOU SQUARED AWAY. WE CANNOT SEND YOU YOUR CORK IF YOU HAVE NOT COMPLETED THIS SURVEY.

Locking in addresses/charging cards: The plan is to lock-in addresses (where you cannot change your shipping info/buy add-ons) at the end of September. Since we have a few more months before the Corks get in, we can be flexible on this if we need to. But as of now, end of September is the goal. This depends on the remaining backers who have not completed their surveys. We don't want them missing the boat. We will notify you a week before you card is charged to give everyone one last reminder and heads up so you don't have any surprises. Your card will be charged for the shipping cost and what ever add-ons you chose during your survey.
Shipping Expectations: Squishable let us know that the Corks will get to them by mid October, which means a delivery to Mashables headquarters mid November which MEANS there is a high chance of us all having a wonderful Corky holiday in December! We say this with caution, because as we've ALLLL learned over the past yearish, things change. And the postal system will be even more bogged down due to the holiday shipping. But let's keep our fins crossed that everything goes smoothly!

Surveys are out!

Hello Mashies!
Surveys through Backerkit are officially sent out! This is our way to collect shipping information along with any extra add-ons you might want, like some stickers to go along with your cork! Card information will be taken but will not be charged until we get closer to the arrival date of the Corks, circa September/October area. If things change, we'll be sure to keep you posted!
We received the invoice from Squishable and now awaiting the final payment to get processed. Once that happens, we'll update you all again letting you know when our 4-6 month manufacturing window officially starts! Still can't believe that 1,500 corks will be delivered to us. WHEW!
ALSO, if you know anyone who missed out on the Kickstarter but still really wants a Cork, they can now pre-order one through Backerkit! There is a limit amount available for pre-order so keep that in mind! Link is on the Cork Campaign page! ^_^
